Andrew is a writer & director who grew up in the Black Country, roaming car boot sales searching for forgotten video nasties and staying up late to absorb cinema’s weirdest offerings on VHS.

Since then he’s gone on to create bold visuals for music videos and short films, earning himself a coveted UKMVA nomination in 2017 and countless awards for his short form work. His short film PETER THE PENGUIN screened as part of the 2021 SLAMDANCE FILM FESTIVAL and BEYOND FEST. Before that it won Best Short Film at the 2020 edition of GRIMMFEST, premiered at the 2020 FANTASIA FILM FESTIVAL, and has screened at the majority of the biggest genre film festivals in the UK and beyond.

Andrew has screened many times in BAFTA, BIFA & OSCAR Qualifying Film Festivals along with earning himself a place on the BFI NETWORK x BAFTA CREW in 2019/20

In 2023 Andrew was one of fifteen filmmakers selected for the prestigious BFI Network @ LFF programme where they select some of the most exciting emerging filmmakers in the UK to  develop their skills as they embark on their debut features.

Andrew recently wrote and directed an episode of Bite Size Halloween for 20th Digital & Disney which released on Hulu on October 1st. It has since screened at BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL, BEYOND FEST, and recently won Audience Awards for Best Short Film at TORONTO AFTER DARK and GRIMMFEST.
